Rock, Cornwall

The village of Rock, situated on the north coast of Cornwall, is a charming and idyllic coastal destination that has earned its reputation as the "Saint-Tropez of Cornwall." This picturesque village, nestled along the banks of the Camel Estuary, boasts a unique blend of natural beauty, upscale amenities, and a relaxed seaside atmosphere.

In the summer we had the absolute pleasure of being involved in this huge job, transforming an old hotel into a beautiful ten bedroom family home. Set in the heart of the village overlooking the glistening waters that we know and love from the north coast.

Lisa Cook, the interior designer who is responsible for the stunning transformation on this home, got in touch for our expertise in specialist runners and flooring. We were more than happy to help and have loved being involved in such a great home.

Unnatural Flooring New England in Woodstock was used in the bar area which is a great range that offers the natural look of sisal but with the practicality and durability of a synthetic fibre. Maintaining the charm a natural floor brings but its strong, water resistant and very easy to wet clean. It has become a very popular choice recently and is the perfect choice for a room of this nature.

And the star of the show, the stairs! Two Fleetwood Fox Runners were used here. Roserton 5 on the main winding staircase and Newport 2 on the lower stairs leading down to the bar.
